Euroment

Euroment is located in Heemstede, the Netherlands. SEG has held a 50 % investment in this company since 1992. The other 50 % is held by Cementbouw Mineralen, a major Dutch building materials manufacturer and dealer. Euroment delivers certified coal fly ash from German and Dutch power plants to customers in the Benelux countries for concrete and certified concrete production. Euroment obtains about half of its marketed fly ash from the STEAG power plants in Voerde, Walsum, Bergkamen, and Herne, and from the drying facility in Lünen. The other half is obtained from the Dutch power plant in Geertruidenberg or from the silo mixing and sieving facility (SMZ) in Rotterdam. In the SMZ facility, fly ash from the Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Geertruidenberg, Nijmegen, and Borssele power plants is mixed to obtain a product with a consistent quality that can be used to produce concrete and certified concrete. Euroment has also been supplying its customers with high-quality lime powder for self-compacting concrete since 2002.
