Company SEG-Group MINERALplus In 2002, SEG has taken over a 100 % share of MINERALplus. In the SEG group, MINERALplus – together with its associated companies – is responsible for the business areas of industrial waste management and building material production and sales, and – together with SEG – for the business area of refuse derived fuel supply. Each year, MINERALplus recycles more than 1 million tonnes of mainly mineral waste, a quarter of which is processed in the company’s own building material mixing facility at the Gladbeck headquarters. For more than ten years, building materials, fillers and stowing material for underground mining have been produced in this facility, where dust-like waste materials are used to replace precious raw materials, taking advantage of their specific material properties. Furthermore, MINERALplus and its associated companies are producing landfill building materials and filler materials as well as building materials for foundation ground enhancement, and are marketing porosion auxiliaries for the brick industry.
